Brit Eady is speaking out about the infamous Atlanta moment heard around the world.
ICYMI: The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 reunion filmed today, and eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that two Georgia peaches were missing from the seating chart: Kenya Moore and rookie Brit Eady.
While Kenya’s absence stems from her on-screen suspension, Brit’s choice to sit this one out is a Housewives first.
She’s officially the first newbie in franchise history to skip her debut season reunion.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Brit explained why she was a no-show:
“As everyone is now aware, I’m not attending the reunion. This was my decision. The events of this season have devastated me… I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic sexual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5.”
And here’s the kicker: Brit says the explicit image that got Kenya suspended wasn’t even her.
“I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me.”
I’d say, it’s safe to assume Brit won’t be returning, but she does promise to share more soon.
