Yves Saint Laurent‘s red, heart-shaped fur coat became instantly iconic for Bravo TV fans when Bronwyn Newport wore it on the season 5 premiere of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Let’s take a look at Bravo’s Sisterhood of the Traveling YSL Coat …
Since Bronwyn’s debut, we’ve seen the coat parodied by one of her RHOSLC co-stars on social media, and a fashionista from RHONY reboot wore a version on last night’s episode. In case you forgot, a version of the coat was worn by Kathryn Dennis on a vintage Southern Charm episode as well.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s ‘friend of’ took to her TikTok to parody the season 5 premiere when she mistook Bronwyn’s couture for a costume.
Britani’s video began with a close-up of the on-again/off-again girlfriend of Jared Osmond. She mouthed the words to the viral sound, “I mean, sure. A normal person would have probably let that go.”
The camera pans out as Britani struts out of the luxury store as she puts on a pair of fancy sunglasses. The RHOSLC ‘friend of’ smized as she donned the iconic red, heart-shaped coat that allegedly Bronwyn owns one of three of.

Last, but certainly not least …
The latest RHOSLC addition made her on-screen debut in one of three red, heart-shaped fur coats made by YSL.
Mary Cosby instantly bonded with Bronwyn over her couture, not costume. The feeling was mutual, as Bronwyn owned the same coat Dolce & Gabbana coat Mary was wearing.
Britani sat down between Bronwyn and Mary. She interjected, “Bronwyn I love your costume.”
“Oh, lord. She done called it a costume,” Mary hilariously exclaimed. “I’m done.” Bronwyn then expressed her disdain with the comment, saying, “That’s fighting words to Mary and I! This is not a costume.”
“Why is that ‘fighting words?’” Britani asked, as Mary responded, “Because we don’t wear costumes, we wear fashion.” Bronwyn boasted, “Rihanna has one, then there’s one in a museum. You can love it or you can hate it but… not a costume!”
