Spoilers for season 3 of The Traitors US ahead!
Come friend, come foe. Come one, come all!
Alan Cumming led the traitors and the faithfuls of season 3 of Peacock’s original series, The Traitors to another banishment, but this one hits differently than the rest …
SPOILER WARNING!
In episode 4, “I Will Bury You Under the Sand” the castle lost its first Traitor, Bob the Drag Queen.
Bob made his fatal move at breakfast the morning after Jeremy from Survivor was nailed in the coffin by The Traitors. With Bob TDQ banished, fans are left with three Traitors, Danielle Reyes from Big Brother, Survivor‘s Carolyn Wiger, and “Boston Rob” Mariano of Survivor, Deal and No Deal Island fame.
Out of nowhere, Bob the Drag Queen dropped a bombshell theory that one of the “new guys” – Boston Rob, Wes Bergmann, and Derrick Levasseur – should have gotten a shield since the popular belief is that one of them is a Traitor.
Bob, in that moment, proved to be a traitorous Traitor to Boston Rob. Survivor’s legend low-key spearheaded a campaign against the RuPaul’s Drag Race winner through ‘faithful’ Dylan Efron.
Boston Rob felt betrayed, so he used his influence (and Dylan) to expose Bob for what he was … a Traitor.
Bob and Rob delivered THEATER:
“Since I got here, there’s been one person who’s been quarterbacking this entire show,” Boston Rob dramatically told the roundtable. “And, I believe that person is the person who’s a Traitor.”
He adds that the “beloved” culprit is masterful at deflection … “That can only be one person in the game: “Bob the Drag Queen,” Boston Rob revealed.
Stunned, gooped, and gagged, Bob the Drag Queen delivered a speech that will go down in Traitors history. “I am just going to say nine words: I swear to God that I am a Faithful.”
Boston Rob clapped back, “Let me say two words. You‘re not.”
With 11 votes, Bob the Drag Queen is banished from the game. The Drag Race legend took to the ‘circle of truth’ to reveal his role in the game. “Listen to my words very carefully.”
“I will tell the truth, but I will never tell a lie. All of you know I‘ve never lied. Guys, I swear to God… God!” he pauses for dramatic effect. “And that was a lie because I don’t believe in God. I’m a Traitor.”
