Bethenny Frankel admitted to not being “fully honest” about her recent move to the Sunshine State.
The former Real Housewives of New York star recently took to TikTok to share the real reason behind her move to Florida.
“It started with the [COVID-19] pandemic, which gave me license to be the introvert and insular person that everyone is surprised that I am,” she admitted.
ICYMI: Bethenny had been living in Greenwich, Connecticut—a move that initially worked for her daughter Bryn, who goes to school in the area and preferred staying close to her friends rather than traveling to the city.
However, the picturesque suburb began to feel more like a “cave,” amplifying Bethenny’s growing isolation.
“I realized I was living for vacations,” she said, referencing her frequent escapes to Miami—where she felt most alive and connected. “I walk outside and I take a walk on the beach and I’m just existing, like, with other human life.”
Ultimately, it was her daughter who gave her the push she needed. Bryn encouraged her mom to make the permanent move to Florida—something Bethenny says “saved” her.
“When she really wanted to make this move, it saved me. It’s going to save my life again,” Bethenny shared.
