Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel mentioned it all … then retracted her statements about Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl halftime show.
Bethenny posted a video that began with her stating she couldn’t “wait to get canceled for this.” She later deleted the video, and posted another. She deleted that video, too.
B’s (self-retracted) POV:
The footage resurfaced of the former RHONY star declaring she was waiting to get canceled for her opinion of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance.
In the now-deleted video, B asked, “Should these entertainment vehicles, the Grammys, the Emmys, the Oscars, the Super Bowl, should this be the place for personal, cultural, political views to be expressed?”
“Certainly there are major world events that take place. Whether COVID or tragedies, 9/11, and it’s unavoidable that it’s discussed, but where is the line?”
The former RHONY personality went on to compare Bad Bunny’s performance to Dave Chapelle expressing transphobic views onstage in 2021, Richard Gere “getting into trouble” in the past, and Billie Eilish recently blasting ICE in her Grammys 2026 acceptance speech.
“Where is the line?” Bethenny reiterated. She noted that Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos aren’t “allowed to express any opinions about anything going on.” On Live With Kelly and Mark, “They barely discuss anything going on. It’s an entertainment vehicle, and they keep it that way.”
Despite B posting another video, the internet called her out for deleting her original video, which received backlash. In her second video, Bethenny applauded Bad Bunny for using his right to “express [him]self.” The Skinnygirl creator had “changed [her] tune.”
After more backlash, Bethenny’s second upload has also been deleted.
ICYMI, Jill Zarin was fired from her upcoming gig on E!’s The Golden Life due to her racist comments about the halftime show.
