Ariana Biermann is speaking out about her relationship with her father, Kroy Biermann.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the Next Gen NYC star opened up about where things stand between her and Kroy amid his increasingly messy split from her mother, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak.
ICYMI: Kim and Kroy first met back in 2010 at a Dancing with the Stars charity event — and their whirlwind romance quickly became a Bravo storyline.
But the fairytale started to unravel fast. From divorce filings and reconciliations to police being called to their Georgia mansion (which later sold at auction), their post-Don’t Be Tardy life has been anything but easy.
But what about the kids caught in the middle?
Ariana Opens Up
According to Ariana, things with Kroy used to be very different.
“Growing up, he really was my best friend — more than my mom was for a while.”
On a side note, that speaks volumes, IMO.
Unfortunately, that closeness has faded.
“We’re definitely not as close as we used to be, and I don’t really talk to him very often just because of this tough situation that we’re in,” Ariana shared, referencing the ongoing divorce drama.
Still, she’s trying to navigate it all with grace.
“I really do try to keep the divorce and my relationship with him and my mom separate. It just gets hard at times.”
Ariana remains especially tight with her younger siblings — the four kids Kim and Kroy had during their 12-year marriage — which likely adds another layer of complexity to the already fractured family dynamic.
Honestly? Props to Ariana for even trying to “keep it cute.” When your family drama is literally tabloid headline material, separating personal relationships from public chaos can’t be easy.
