Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Annemarie Wiley filed a lawsuit against the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
The single-season housewife claims the ASA performed a “public smear campaign” against her after she discredited Sutton Stracke’s diagnosed esophagus issues on international television.

Annemarie claimed the ASA debunking her misinformation caused her distress. “I continue to experience significant harm from their false and defamatory [Instagram] post about me.”
“While I have not publicly disclosed my lawsuit, I am now aware of the ASA’s decision to publicize on their website my lawsuit against them.”
“Let me be clear – my lawsuit is solely about the ASA’s malicious, false, targeted, and defamatory statements about me. I have always proudly, publicly, and consistently stated that I am a CRNA. I have never stated that I am an anesthesiologist or a medical doctor during my time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or otherwise.”
“This is not a debate over professional titles, despite the ASA’s attempts to now mischaracterize it as such. This is about holding the ASA accountable for its shameful and blatent lies. I trust that the truth will come to light through the proper legal channels.”

ICYMI … Annemarie condescendingly told Sutton – who has a known medical condition – “All you do is chew your food more.”
“You don’t just, ‘chew your food more,’ a stricture is a stricture.”
“You can chew your food all you want … but if your stricture is narrow you’re going to have the feeling of some food stuck in your esophagus. The whole scene was kind of cringey to me. I don’t what made her go at Sutton so hard, especially when it was her party. I thought that to be incredibly rude.”
Dr. Moon advised, “Let’s not weaponize our medical knowledge to come at people … especially when you’re wrong.”

“It does not matter where you fall in the spectrum – all the way from being a tech to being a doctor,” began Nicole. “You join the profession to be an advocate for patients.”
