A sad development in Annemarie Wiley’s case against her estranged husband, Marcellus Wiley.
TMZ reports that the RHOBH alum was allegedly kept in the dark about prosecutors declining to file charges against Marcellus in connection with his Florida domestic violence case.
The outlet previously reported that prosecutors declined to pursue charges because Annemarie’s testimonial evidence was not corroborated by physical or other evidence and was therefore deemed insufficient to secure a conviction.
However, the decision in Florida does not affect the legal proceedings in California, where Annemarie’s divorce and domestic violence restraining order cases remain ongoing.
Sources claim the temporary restraining order against Marcellus also remains in place.
ICYMI: Annemarie called police in July after she claimed things got physical inside a Florida hotel room.
She told investigators Marcellus poked her in the cheek and threatened to kill her.
Days after the alleged incident, Annemarie filed for divorce and requested a restraining order, claiming Marcellus had been violent throughout their marriage.
Marcellus has denied the allegations against him.
