A judge responded to former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Annemarie Wiley‘s request for a restraining order against Marcellus Wiley and full custody of their kids.

According to court records reviewed by the New York Post, a LA County judge granted Annemarie’s request on Wednesday after hearing arguments from both sides over multiple days. The judge determined that Annemarie “has met the burden of proof by preponderance of the evidence.”
Annemarie initially requested the restraining order on July 6, days after Marcellus was arrested in Florida. He was accused of poking Annemarie in the cheek and threatening to kill her during an alleged dispute in a hotel room.
The former RHOBH star filed for divorce from Marcellus at the same time. In her petition for protection, Annemarie alleged that she had endured an escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation throughout their marriage. She also alleged that some of the incidents were witnessed by their children.
The order is set to expire at midnight on September 9, 2029.
The custody ruling:
The couple’s minor children are also protected under the order. Court records state that Annemarie has been granted sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the children. The judge also established a step-by-step visitation plan for Marcellus.
The former NFL player stated he feels “grateful” for the court’s decision. Marcellus “welcomes the opportunity for our family to finally begin healing after an incredibly difficult and trying time. From the beginning, my fight has been about being present in my children’s lives, loving them, supporting them, and being their father every day. I’m thankful I get to return to that role.”
