Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin is no longer Andy Cohen‘s problem, and the Bravo TV producer is relieved!
Jill deemed Bad Bunny’s halftime show “the worst ever.” She said that it was “inappropriate” that he performed in Spanish. Her racist rant got her fired from E!‘s The Golden Life.
Andy’s off the hook!
On his Radio Andy show, Andy disclosed “We went to see & Juliet on Broadway, which Kandi Burruss is starring in.”
“It was really fun. There were [so many] Housewives there.” According to Andy, many of the Bravolebrities in attendance were “talking [about] Jill Zarin.”
As for Andy, Jill is no longer his problem. “I don’t really have anything to say about it, besides call E!”
Andy quipped, “If you want further comment, call E!” before pointing out that she was “let go in season 4” of the original RHONY. “[She] talked about it with me so much on camera, off camera, and was finally coming back.”
“Then, a week after the announcement? But, I will never get over the sight of the Zarin Fabrics Instagram account … posting a picture of Jill with an X over it. I never thought that I would see the day.”
ICYMI …
Jill’s family’s company made a statement against her:
“Zarin Fabrics stands firmly against racism, discrimination, and rhetoric. [Language] that seeks to exclude or diminish people based on identity, culture, or background.”
“We want to be absolutely clear that Jill Zarin has not had ownership of or been associated with Zarin Fabrics for several years. Our company operates independently, and any public statements attributed to her are made in a personal capacity and do not reflect our values, beliefs, or operations.”
While Jill has not commented on the fabric brand’s statement, she released her own message about the firing.
“They didn’t even give me a chance,” Jill whined. “I took it down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human.”
