Andy Cohen is speaking out about his fellow NBC cohort’s mother’s abduction.
Andy chatted with PEOPLE while attending Kandi Burruss’ Broadway performance of & Juliet, and shared just how heavy the mood has been behind the scenes.
“I was on last week promoting my Super Bowl commercial and they were all so somber and sad,” Andy noted.
“I know my way around a morning show and it’s not really like that at a lot of morning shows,” he added.
Bravo’s frontman called Nancy’s disappearance “surreal,” explaining:
“It feels like a movie. I think there’s two reasons that it resonates so much. First of all, everybody loves Savannah Guthrie and second of all, we all are putting ourselves in her shoes. Everyone has a loved one you can picture being taken. It’s just terrible.”
If you haven’t been following the case, here’s what we know so far.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, went missing from her Tucson, Arizona home in the early hours of Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Additionally, she was last seen the night before on January 31.
Authorities believe she was abducted.
Doorbell camera footage reportedly shows a masked individual and unusual activity between 1:47 a.m. and 2:28 a.m. on February 1.
We are now in week two of the search, and the investigation remains ongoing.
