1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton is missing a decent chunk of skin from what she claims is a camel bite. TMZ obtained photos of Amy’s gnarly injury. The TLC personality was bitten on Monday at Tennessee’s Safari Park before she got arrested on drug charges.

The injury:

“The injury photo shows a 4-centimeter-wide section of skin missing from Amy’s right arm … near her inner elbow … and you can see her exposed tissue. The zoo owner’s seen this too, and he claims this clearly shows the wound is not from a camel’s bite.” Amy left the zoo on a gurney after allegedly getting bit.

After Amy was bit, Officers at the scene found found “psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana” in her automobile. The illegal substances were “in plain sight” with “two kids inside the vehicle.” Deputies were “immediately overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the guest’s vehicle” at Tennessee Safari Park while responding to a call about a zoo-goer being bitten by a camel.”

The 36-year-old TLC personality was “arrested and charged with illegal possession of schedule I and schedule VI drugs and two counts of child endangerment, authorities confirmed.” Amy’s literal partner-in-crime, Brian Scott Lovvorn, was also arrested on the same charges. “Both subjects have been booked into the Crockett County Jail,” as per the Sheriff’s department. Additionally, “The charges and allegations referenced in this release are merely accusations of criminal conduct and not evidence.”

The controversy:

The zoo owner stated Amy’s injury “is NOT a camel bite.” But, the zoo employee who called 911 to report the incident says it WAS a camel bite, and cops are referring to it as such because that’s what was reported.

Jon Conley, the zoo owner, is adamant this is not a bite wound. He claimed “there’s no way one of their camels bit Amy, and he finds it strange there is no bruised tissue and the skin is fileted open … which he says indicates this isn’t an animal bite.”
