Perfect Match star Ally Lewber appeared on Scheana Shay’s podcast, where she responded to the headline that her ex, James Kennedy, is expecting a child with his girlfriend.
Ally, who is now starring on Netflix’s hit dating show, told her former Vanderpump Rules co-star that she wishes James the best, despite their complicated past.
James was arrested for DV after he and Ally attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party in 2024. No charges were filed.
DJ James Kennedy is going to be a father:
“My first thought was just shocked, because I didn’t know…I mean, I saw that picture, but I didn’t know he had a girlfriend,” explained Ally. “And then also, I was like, ‘Whoa. Okay.’ And then didn’t really care.”
“I think he always has wanted to be a dad, and that was always our thing, too, is he always wanted kids like immediately, and I was like, I don’t know what I want,” she continued.
“And so he’s always wanted to be a dad, and he always has always moved quickly. And I wish them the best.”
ICYMI, TMZ revealed James’ girlfriend of seven months is expecting. The couple hosted a themed gathering among their inner circle. While James’ new girlfriend isn’t a public figure, the pair have largely stayed out of the spotlight despite his reality TV fame. While James’ reality TV career ended after abusing his former girlfriends, he still gets work touring as a DJ.
