James Kennedy was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence on Tuesday at his Burbank home.
The internationally known DJ and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, attended Kathy Hilton‘s Christmas Party earlier in the evening … I was there, too! James’s vibe was OFF, imho!
Legal deets:
Law enforcement told TMZ, a witness saw Kennedy and the woman arguing … with the reality TV star allegedly grabbing her at one point, though we’re told officers did not see any visible injuries on her.
“After investigating the situation, police say they determined it was a domestic incident … leading to the DJ being arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. Sources say Kennedy was released after posting $20K bail.”
The tabloid was told “the Burbank City Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case for possible charges. Kennedy and Lewber have been dating since January 2022 … linking up mere weeks after the ‘VPR’ star broke up with former fiancée Rachel Leviss.”
My experience with James at Kathy’s Christmas party:
Before we get to Christmas at Kathy’s, let me put on the record that I have NO IDEA what happened behind closed doors. I was just another party guest whose met James several times socially.
The first time I talked to James was early in the night when Ally pulled him into our conversation. Ally is the most beautiful person, inside and out, and James couldn’t have been any nicer.
Fast forward to later in the night …
The bars were all packed and I managed to make my way to the front of the line. James was still several people back. I asked him if he wanted me to grab a bottle of water or soda from the bar for him so he didn’t have to wait in line.
His reaction was so bizarre …
He laughed at my offer. I swallowed my pride and continued to order my Mexican Mule. I didn’t really think about this any more until I saw he was arrested.
I’ve met James many times, sober and in his party days. He was not himself Tuesday night. Again, I have NO IDEA what really went down, but I do know how I felt around James Tuesday night.
James was not himself Tuesday night, in my opinion.
