Aesha Scott is asking viewers to give Gael Cameron some grace.
The Below Deck Med chief stew came to her friend’s defense following Gael’s heated confrontation with Joe Bradley on this week’s episode.
“Can people please give Gael some GRACE!?” Aesha wrote on Instagram Sept. 23.
“That poor woman has been through hell and back the last two years, a hell most of you attacking her from your high horse at home have no real idea about.”
ICYMI: Gael’s ex, Nathan Gallagher, has recently faced legal trouble in Australia involving domestic violence charges.
Reports state that he failed to appear for a court hearing and that a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.
Nathan and Gael met while filming Season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean and later welcomed their son, Kayden, in June 2025.
During this week’s episode, “The Babysitters Club,” Gael confronted Joe Bradley over his treatment of Nathan throughout the charter season.
Of course, things only escalated after a night of drinking and being stuck together in their version of a Real Housewives sprinter van.
Sadly, the episode ended on a cliffhanger as tensions continued to rise between Gael, Joe and Nathan.
Aesha to the rescue
In her defense of Gael, Aesha also claimed her friend had been “fed lies day after day,” which influenced the decisions she made that night.
And while Aesha acknowledged that Gael ultimately decided to travel to Croatia and film alongside Nathan, she reminded viewers that they aren’t privy to everything happening behind the scenes.
“I know she went to Croatia and agreed to go onto a public forum where people watch and have opinions, but again, you all have no clue what steps led to that and followed that,” Aesha wrote.
