She may be a Mormon and she may be a wife, but Witney Carson has no desire to appear on the hit Hulu reality series!
In a PEOPLE exclusive, the Dancing with the Stars professional dancer revealed she was approached to film for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
“We’re not all swingers, okay,” Witney joked, referencing the scandal that initially put MomTok on everyone’s radar.
“I was actually approached to do The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and I really don’t have anything against them,” she continued.
“Everyone has their own opinion of the church and how they like to live it. I wouldn’t say those girls represent the church as a whole.”
However, Witney did mention that she’s a big fan of SLOMW and has even “binged everything.”
ICYMI: The Mormon Utah community is small, and it’s even smaller when you’re in the dancing world.
Many of the pros on DWTS came from Utah — Lindsay Arnold, Jenna Johnson, Witney Carson, Brandon Armstrong, and Julianne and Derek Hough, to name a few.
Witney also revealed that she and Season 34 contestant and SLOMW star Whitney Leavitt competed against each other growing up.
“I knew her in the jazz competition world well before she got on Dancing with the Stars,” the Season 34 Mirrorball champ continued.
“It was just actually very strange that we met up back together and kind of the same dance world but in a very different way.”
