The childhood friends just launched Show Me Something with The Volume — a new podcast covering everything from sports and pop culture to Bravo, food, fashion, and more.
“There’s no better time to hop into the WNBA than right now,” West told People exclusively.
ICYMI: Sophie plays for the Indiana Fever and has known West since they were “little babies” growing up in Columbia, Missouri.
West, a seasoned sports journalist, has written for Bleacher Report, Complex Sports, and appeared on NFL Network — so this move into podcasting feels like a natural next step.
Originally, the duo planned to focus solely on the WNBA, but quickly realized their conversations go way beyond the court.
“We really do talk about anything,” Sophie said. “We’ll hit on the WNBA and Bravo, obviously, but also pop culture, food, fashion, travel — we’re opening it all up.”
Sophie’s also a Bravo fan, and she always knew West was destined for the spotlight:
“It was just a matter of time before he got famous,” she joked.
