Demi Engemann‘s absence from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion wasn’t as salacious as many fans believed. Well, according to Demi.
During an Instagram Q&A, Demi explained why she didn’t film TSLOMW reunion.
Demi does Disney:
“I was [invited, but] it was short notice,” explained Demi. “The only day they could get the location secured was the day that me and my entire family did Disneyland.”
The magic of Disney beat out the mayhem of a reunion for the Engemann family …
Demi ultimately chose to visit the Happiest Place on Earth instead of hashing out issues with her costars, adding, “We had already booked all of our flights and the Airbnb was nonrefundable or / would’ve moved the trip to be there.”
“I tried to have production move it to another day, and they couldn’t swing it, sadly.” Not Demi trying to move the filming of the reunion for the entire cast and crew so her family could go on vacation lol!
The SLOMW reunion isn’t the only cast event Demi has missed as of late …
I attended MomTok: Unholy Tea Live in Las Vegas on June 7th.
While Jen Affleck, Mayci Neeley, Taylor Frankie Paul, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mikayla Matthews, and Layla Taylor were present, there was no sight of Whitney Leavitt or Demi in Sin City!
The MomTokers spoke mainly of their kids, which is not the ‘Unholy Tea’ we signed up for. So, the audience clocked in. “Where’s Whitney’ chants threw the ladies for a loop, but Mikayla (the MVP) understood the assignment and got messy.
Mikayla mentioned Whitney, who the audience had love for, which was a surprise to me. Equally surprising is that Demi’s name was booed as soon as Mikayla mentioned her. I think it’s important to note this was the only time the crowd booed the entire night … and there was a DadTok performance, so that says a lot!
