Tom Sandoval Asked Judge For Forgiveness After Representing Himself In Rachel Leviss’s Lawsuit Against Him

Tom Sandoval begged a judge to allow him to “avoid consequences” for missing a deadline in Rachel Leviss‘s battle against him.

In Touch reported the former Vanderpump Rules star was “busy with the holidays” and looking for a “new lawyer” after firing his previous legal team.

Tom’s request:

Sandoval, 42, filed a declaration explaining the situation to the LA Superior Court judge.

“The Gourjian Law Group and I parted way, leaving me to represent myself until I could find another attorney,” Tom wrote.

The Traitors season three personality and his lawyers “ended their relationship,” which left “Tom without a lawyer” for over a month.

ICYMI- Tom fired his lawyers because they filed a suit against his ex, Ariana Madix, allegedly, without his consent. Tom’s lawsuit against Ariana was quickly dropped.

While Tom was without representation, Rachel’s team questioned him extensively. Since Rachel’s lawyer and Tom’s former lawyer are brothers, it’s possible the lawyer Tom fired told his brother to pounce on Tom. while he didn’t have professional guidance. (THAT’S MY OPINION!)

The reality tv personality didn’t understand how the legal system works:

Tom explained, “While I was aware that there was a 30-day deadline to respond to the discovery, I was not aware of the potential objections. Or, that missing the deadline to respond would result in a waiver of those obligations. I am not an attorney and have no legal training.”

“On December 13, 2024, I was newly representing myself. [I was] actively searching for another attorney and mistakenly believed that I had missed the deadline to respond. I was concerned that this would make it appear as though I was trying to delay things.”

“Therefore, I reached out to [Rachel’s] counsel, Mark Geragos, and asked for 30 more days to put together responses. Mr. Geragos did not respond to my email.”

In January, Tom hired a Calabasas lawyer, Colin Hardacre, to represent him. According to court documents, Tom informed the court that opted not to represent himself as previously announced.
