Sophia Nepola, daughter of Real Housewives of Miami cast member Todd Nepola, is pulling back the curtain on the Bravo franchise — and she’s not holding back.
In a candid Get Ready With Me TikTok, Sophia revealed why she refuses to appear on RHOM, despite her father’s ongoing relationship with cast member Alexia Nepola.
“I could probably give 100 reasons why I didn’t want to be on the show,” she began.
The main one? She thinks it’s fake.
Sophia explained that after witnessing a scene being filmed and later seeing how drastically it was edited for TV, she realized the show prioritized drama over authenticity.
“Obviously the producers needed the show to get ratings, so I could see why they manipulated things to go a certain way,” she admitted.
Another red flag? She and her sister Gabby — Todd’s daughters from a previous relationship — filmed several scenes with their stepmom Alexia, none of which made it to air.
But what pushed her over the edge was the public reaction to Todd’s on-screen confrontation with Alexia’s son, Peter. The now-infamous fight over parenting Alexia’s other son, Frankie, painted Todd in a negative light — especially to Sophia’s peers at school.
It wasn’t until her friends at school were afraid to meet her dad when she knew the show didn’t accurately portray her family’s dynamic.
