Looks like Todd Nepola had a change of heart!
The sometimes estranged ex-husband of Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola has officially dropped his defamation lawsuit against Bravo and NBCUniversal.
According to TMZ, Todd filed paperwork earlier this week voluntarily dismissing the case with prejudice — meaning he cannot refile it in the future.
In Case You Missed It: Todd previously accused the network of lying about his finances to amp up storylines involving Alexia during Seasons 6 and 7 of RHOM.
He claimed the portrayal damaged his reputation.
His daughter, Sophia (from a previous relationship), also spoke out at the time, alleging the show was “fake” and didn’t accurately depict her father.
She even claimed some of her friends were afraid to come to their home because Todd appeared aggressive on camera.
So why the sudden reversal?
My guess is since Real Housewives of Miami is expected to begin filming soon, Alexia can’t exactly be in a relationship with someone who’s publicly suing (and bashing) the network that signs her checks.
