The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul may be the Founder of MomTok, but the stars of Hulu’s hit show are filming without their controversial lead in a featured role.
The fifth season twist, according to TMZ, is that Taylor will be included in filming the intro credits, but that’s it. There will be no confessionals or content this season including TPF. However, the show will likely revolve around her legal woes and how it has affected the rest of the cast.
Production on season 5 was temporarily halted on TSLOMW in mid-March following a heated blow-up between Taylor and Dakota Mortensen during filming.
In May, it was rumored that Taylor would only film confessionals, but seemingly her role is even more limited. Since then, Taylor has been involved in heated custody battles with Dakota and her ex-husband, Tate Paul, over her three kids.
Taylor’s co-stars Jessi Draper, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Miranda Matthews, and Miranda Hope got together to film a video in which they danced around to “Big Time Rush.” The message, “Surviving,” was added to the post.
Taylor commented, “Looks like thriving to me. I’ll show you surviving.”
Production sources are hopeful and confident the series will be renewed for a sixth season, but Hulu has yet to pull the trigger.
