Teresa Giudice doubled down on her “true friendship” with her former nemesis, Jackie Goldschneider. The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG posted a photo of the new friends to Instagram leaving the Bravosphere confused AF. Never forget, the formerly imprisoned RHONJ star admitted – on international television – that she only sought a relationship with Jackie to get back at Margaret Josephs.
Double date night:
According to Tre and Jackie’s Instagram stories, the reunited friends and their husbands had a double date Friday night at Elia Mediterranean Restaurant in East Rutherford, NJ.
“True friendship shines brightest through forgiveness and love 💕,” penned Teresa for her 2.3M Instagram followers to see. Jackie slid into the comments to add, “Loved last night ❤️❤️.” Both women posted a video of a violinist serenading the couples and a photo of a desert platter. Neither of the husbands shared photos or videos to their social media pages.
Rekindled friendship:
Earlier this week, the controversial Real Housewife chatted with BravoTV.com about her new-found friendship with Jackie assuring the audience they didn’t bond because of their mutual fallouts with Margaret. “It really was organic. It was really the way it happened on TV.” Teresa added, “And, I have to say, I do love Evan” who she described as “a gentleman.”
“I’ve always had a special place in my heart for him. I never wanted to hurt their family.” Regarding Jackie specifically, Teresa explained, “I know in my heart, I did not mean to hurt her and she knows that.” This complicated friendship has needed work to get to where it is currently. “With me and Jackie, that’s the thing. A friendship is a give and take. We both have to try with it, and we did. It organically just happened.”
The Margaret of it all:
While she maintained she didn’t bond with Jackie over their mutual disdain for Margaret, Teresa admitted Margaret is part of the reason she didn’t connect with Jackie sooner. “I did always like Jackie, but I know Jackie had Margaret and Melissa in her ear in the past, and that’s why she never got close to me.”
WTF?
Bravo TV fans were stumped hearing Tre’s claim, considering we saw the mother of four dorters daughters have a literal meltdown over the instantly infamous analogy Jackie made about the rumor of Gia Giudice uses cocaine at parties.
