Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice made a startling claim about Milania Giudice during the 20-year-old’s encounter with police at Tampa International Airport.
In newly released bodycam footage obtained by TMZ, Teresa told officers that Milania “had fentanyl in her system” while the family was riding in an airport elevator.
It’s unclear from the footage whether Teresa was referring to Milania having fentanyl in her system at the time of the airport incident or during a previous incident. There has also been no independent confirmation in the footage that Milania tested positive for fentanyl.
Milania appeared to respond to her mother’s statement, saying, “‘Cause I was laced, I go to college.” Teresa then made it clear that she was concerned about Milania’s well-being. “I want to save your life,” Teresa told her daughter.
The tense exchange came as police intervened following a chaotic incident involving Milania, Teresa and her older sister, Gia Giudice. At one point, Milania said she had posted a video of her argument with her family on social media. Teresa responded, “I don’t care anymore.”
Milania continued raising her voice at her mother and repeatedly yelled, “This is what we do now.”
“Hurry up, Mom! Why don’t you run! You wanted to cause a scene!” Milania shouted before loudly yelling “Teresa Giudice” for others in the airport to hear.
Despite the confrontation, Teresa remained relatively calm and told Milania that they were going to get on the plane together. Police subsequently escorted the family toward their gate.
During a private conversation between officers, one cop noted that Milania was “using repetitive language,” while another described her as a “danger to herself.”
“Yes, that’s why she got Baker Acted. They’re trying to get her back to a rehab facility,” another officer said in the footage.
The footage also shows Milania asking police to leave her alone and telling them she didn’t want them there. At another point, Milania is seen skipping away from officers as they followed her through the terminal.
