The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul has decided to “detach” from the Mormon faith.
TFP, whose season of The Bachelorette was canceled after a DV video surfaced, was raised as a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints [LDS]. She took to Instagram to explain why she’s separating herself from the church.
From the desk of Taylor Frankie Paul:
“Born and raised Mormon (LDS) and I’ll always have love and respect towards it. I’ll even continue to go [to church] with my family at times. With that being said, it’s time to detatch myself from it. ❤️🩹”
The MomToker continued, “I strongly believe in Christ, God, the bible, the divine. I believe we are loved whether we are praying in a church building or from a bathroom floor at home.”
“I’ve also experienced grace and love from amazing people who aren’t sure what they believe at all that’s okay, too. The point being – there is more out there to learn. And I’m writing this out as a release.”
Canceled:
Both Taylor and her ex-boyfriend/baby daddy, Dakota Mortensen were axed from future gigs due to the DV video that was leaked days before The Bachelorette was set to premiere.
ABC confirmed the cancellation of TFP’s season of The Bachelorette in an email to affiliates. “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time. Our focus is on supporting the family.”
Dakota filmed Vanderpump Villa in England with other DakTok members, but will be edited out of the show.
