Although Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir channeled Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s Detective Agency when trying to identify The Traitors on Peacock’s hit show, they are rumored to be the new hosts of the Kelly Clarkson Show when the American Idol winner steps away.

ICYMI, Kelly will end her show after seven seasons this fall. NBC has been actively searching for her replacements.
Double the fun:
“This isn’t some casual brainstorm,” according to a network insider. “There are actual development conversations happening. They’re looking at formats. They’re running numbers.”
The best friends, have served as commentators together since the 2014 Winter Olympics. Another source gushed Tara and Johnny “are live TV pros.”
“They’re quick on their feet, visually dynamic, and audiences genuinely like them. That’s gold in daytime.”
It helps that Lipinski, 43, and Weir, 41, already have a long employment record providing skating commentary at NBC. “They check every box,” a senior insider added. “Polished, experienced, and they understand spectacle. NBC isn’t experimenting. They’re positioning.”
At this moment, no contracts have been signed. But, the source concluded, “Make no mistake. This is serious.”
