Taleen Khanoya is calling out her former costar and bestie due to a recent X tirade.
In Case You Missed It: After just two seasons, the Real Housewives of Dubai went “on pause.”
Now we know “on pause” is never really “on pause” — rather, the nicest possible way of saying fired or cancelled.
Taleen feels the show is actually on hiatus and will be coming back in the near future.
(I mean, they say manifestation works)
However, Caroline alleges that Taleen is being dishonest about the future of the show. She claims they were told the show was cancelled and would not be returning.
On February 7, the corporate consultation took to her X account to correct that narrative.
“Someone please tell toucan sam the show is over! She’s still begging and it’s embarrassing… HANG IT UP SIS! Karma said aht aht! #RHODubai”
Taleen Replies
X account @RealityTvHotTea screenshot Caroline’s tweet, adding their own caption:
“Caroline Brooks shades Taleen Marie Khanoyan as “Toucan Sam” and “begging” amid cancellation.”
Though she wasn’t tagged, Taleen still caught wind of the derogatory comment.
“Would be a different conversation if I said anything about her looks. This comment of hers is just racist. I’m ethnic and yes we have bigger noses.
God forbid I would say anything about her face. Also l’m a hadida bird not toucan,” she posted.
I am inclined to agree with Caroline that RHODubai has kicked the bucket.
But weaponizing someone features, especially one’s that are linked to ethnicity and culture is never a good look.
As part of a minority group herself, I would expect better from Caroline.
But sometimes hate tends to blind reason, not that it’s excusable.
