Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke provided details as to the $1M dollars in goods that was stolen from her Bel Air home when she at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.
In an interview with ABC News’ Nightline, Sutton explained how the burglary has affected her.
The aftermath:
“It feels strange to know that there were three men in my house in my room going through my drawers just looking and hunting,” expressed the RHOBH personality.
The Nov. 15th incident left her “big kitchen window shattered everywhere.” Also, her drawers were rummaged through. “The result was up to $1 million worth of luxury handbags and high-end jewelry stolen from the reality star’s bedroom closet.” Sutton stated that the items missing were several of her Hermès bags. Nothing had been recovered.
“Those were gonna be [family] heirlooms. Not to mention also this strange sense that somebody was in here.”
Sutton reasoned that the burglars were hitting houses throughout the neighborhood, “deliberately choosing” her and Kathy Hilton’s homes to rob. She texted the RHOBH group chat, telling her co-stars to make sure their homes were secure as a precaution.
She still “runs through” different scenarios in her brain about what she didn’t do to make her home safe.
A reality of reality TV:
According to Sutton, producers had always been protective” of the cast. “I never conjured the idea that somebody was watching this show to break into my house.”
“Maybe it was because I’m on this television show. But I have to remember that my next-door neighbor was broken into a couple of years ago. I can’t allow myself to live in fear of being on this show and not letting our viewers experience things in its most authentic, truest form.”
As for advice she’d give non-reality stars after her break-in? “Be as careful as possible with your house.” She acknowledged that she’s fortunate to have armed security, but that’s important to lock up your house no matter what.”
