I’m born on Earth Day, so I’m an environmental girlie down to my core.
Naturally, I’ve been curious about Sutton Stracke‘s Circular Fashion House, Sutton Green Label.
After the confusion about her business from the other Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members, I decided to explore the website. I came across a vintage skirt that was a PERFECT match for a band tee I wanted to wear to a concert.
I decided to order the skirt! Here is a breakdown of my experience with Sutton Green Label …
The ordering process from Sutton Green Label:
I sent a question about sizing to the online help. “Hi! Iโm hoping to purchase the Moscow zip skirt! I usually wear a 10 or 12. My waist is 36โโ. Which size would u recommend??”
The message was sent on a Friday evening, after work hours. Sutton Green Label responded on Monday morning at 10am, so I was happy with the quick turnaround time.
Unfortunately, my question wasn’t answered. The customer service staff member responded, “As you did not provide your hip measurement, and based on your waist size and the fit of the skirt we would recommend an XL.”
For the record, the website didn’t have a questionnaire or prompts to fill out when asking questions. How would I know to include my hip size? Plus, why didn’t she ask my hip size if it was so important?
The skirt came sized 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14. I found it odd that she told me XL, rather than a size in which the skirt is offered. So, I opted for the size 12, in hopes I wouldn’t have a muffin top … the struggle is real.
I ordered the skirt on a Monday afternoon. It shipped on Wednesday and I received it on Friday. LOVE!
The skirt was $57. There were no additional taxes or shipping fees. Again, LOVE!
The unboxing!
I was excited when I opened the package. The skirt was well-constructed and exactly what I expected based on the website. As a Project Runway fan, I’m very aware of the craftsmanship it took to create the double-zipper adjustable slit.
I wish I had gotten the size 10 instead of the 12, but I’ll let the mouse go …

A night out in Sutton Green Label:
I got several compliments on my skirt! The venue was unbelievably crowded, so I spent a lot of time bouncing in and outside to get some air.
I was worried about being too hot … Like Kathy Hilton, I need a box fan at all times. The zipper on the skirt got raised anytime I felt a hot flash coming on, and it gave some relief in the steamy venue.
When I’d go outside for air, I’d get a bit chilly, so the zipper went down, giving my legs coverage from the wind … A win/win!
Overall experience:
I would definitely order from Sutton Green Label again. The price was fair for the quality of the product I received, and I received the skirt within days of ordering.
My only major apprehension is the sizing. I have a really hard time finding clothes that fit perfectly, as I am much bigger on top than I am on the bottom. Being that Joan Rivers and Fashion Police raised me, I learned the importance of having clothes that fit perfectly. This was not the case, but I made it work.
I’ll definitely be more persistent with questions in the future, but I feel that initiative should be taken on their end.
