Instagram’s @BravoBreakingNews had BOOTS ON THE GROUND at Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson‘s live show. Kim from Bravo Breaking News asked Shannon the question on many Real Housewives of Orange County fans’ minds … What’s her response to Joel Kim Booster‘s Instagram stories about her?
For context, right after Peacock’s new dating show wrapped, Love Hotel [working title], Joel dragged Shannon for absolute trash for her treatment of him – the host – as well as the crew.
Shannon speaks out about JKB blasting her:
“I was at the airport it came across all our phones,” Shannon began. “I really don’t know what it’s about. An hour earlier that night before the wrap party, [Joel Kim Booster] had tears in his eyes and he said, ‘I’m so happy for you.'”
The Fire Island star “trashed my daughters” online. Shannon continued, “He said that he hopes that I suffer. He said that he feels sorry for John Janssen.” She added, “He said that I’m nothing but a pathetic drunk.”
Turning the table:
Shannon believes her actions from her time on the show will speak for themselves. “It’s really going to look silly for [Joel Kim Booster] because he had nothing but love for me the entire show.”
“What I’m sad about is I actually did some kind things on the show and people said I was kind. So, it’s hard for me to walk away from an experience I really enjoyed and have that damper on it. But, we’ll see what happens. I don’t know where it came from.”
Former RHOC star, Gretchen, chimed in to add how “unprofessional” it was of JKB to speak of Shannon the way he did.

“Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI doesn’t make you a star,” wrote JKB to his Insta story. “It does not give you license to treat people you work with like they are subhuman. Period.”
“Let’s just say I can’t imagine what John Janssen went through. Poor guy.”
