Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador found herself disappointed in The Quiet Woman restaurant’s management after she and her co-stars hosted Andy Cohen at the popular OC establishment.
How it started:
Tamra Judge alleged Shannon had another “meltdown” at The Quiet Woman.
During an episode of Jeff Lewis Has Issues, Tamra claimed she and Shannon were at the Corona Del Mar restaurant with Andy Cohen and her castmates.
According to Tamra, Shannon was upset that their meal wasn’t comped by the restaurant. “Shannon was mad that The Quiet Woman didn’t pick up the check.”
How it’s going:
Shannon shared her side. “It’s a completely exaggerated story.”
“I have been frequenting this restaurant … I don’t even need to tell you the name of it. I’ve had some scenes there that are, I guess, memorable.”
“When I went to the restaurant and coordinated this dinner with six of my castmates and Andy Cohen, it was kind of a big deal. So when Andy asked for the bill, and they brought one, I was bothered by it. It’s ridiculous.”
“You have Andy Cohen here. He’s never been to Orange County. He’s chosen your establishment. So, it’s like, what else do you need? I was bothered by it. I wasn’t having a meltdown, but I let my opinion be known.”
Shannon was irritated because this “is business 101. You have Andy Cohen here with six housewives!” Shannon thinks they should have sent out “a free round of drinks” or “free apps.”
Apparently, Andy paid the bill and walked out to leave. The manager ran out to catch up with Andy and the ‘Wives. They were appreciative of Andy’s very generous gratuity, but they “ripped up the bill.”
Shannon noted that all of this could have been avoided if the restaurant had been prepared. “This was embarrassing to me. I guess it’s time for me to take a break from that restaurant,” she concluded.
