The former season 25 Bachelor contestant took to her Instagram Stories on January 10 to poke fun at a fake pregnancy announcement that started circulating on Facebook.
“This photo is for everyone who saw the FAKE pregnancy announcement that got posted by a fan account on Facebook today,” Serena wrote, sharing a pic of herself holding what appeared to be a glass of wine.
Earlier this week, an AI-generated image of Serena and her husband Joe Amabile holding a sonogram made the rounds on Facebook, alongside a false story confirming the “news.”
“A wish fans never saw coming this soon. The couple’s announcement instantly lit up social media, with longtime viewers calling it the ultimate full-circle moment after their whirlwind love story,” the fake post claimed.
ICYMI: Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile met and fell in love on Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021, getting engaged during the season finale.
They tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony in October 2022, followed by a larger Charleston wedding in September 2023.
