Vanderpump Rules OG Scheana Shay‘s cordial era with Lisa Vanderpump is over.
Scheana was in the TWOT seat with Tamra Judge, who inquired about her relationship with her former employer, LVP.
Scheana spilled the BTS tea about the restauranteur:
“I don’t talk to her too often,” announced Summer Moon’s mom. “She usually calls when she needs something.”
“Recently when I talked to her, she had a question about a friend of mine that’s on another show of hers. That’s pretty much it.”
She didn’t stop there!
Scheana continued, Lisa “has her name on [The Valley.] Technically, she’s an executive producer. But, she doesn’t know anything going on.”
“When she found out Kristen was pregnant, she asked if she knew who the dad was. You’re an executive producer on this show” and you don’t know Kristen Doute is in a committed relationship. (She and Luke Broderick are now engaged!)
“She’s very much NOT involved, but she has her name on the show.”

Lisa was a guest on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast and explained how the original cast veered too off course to continue filming. VPR “wasn’t grounded in what it originally had been. [The] focus shifted from cast members’ work lives in the restaurant to their personal relationships.”
“That was incredible, when we first kind of talked about creating that show, and we sat on orange boxes. It was pretty much the cast I brought into you was the cast that we used, and they were extraordinary. They were extraordinary then, and they continued to be. They were very open, they were very authentic, and I think that was the most important thing that we looked for for a reality show.”
“I felt that we told the story, and we always said together that we didn’t want to go down on a sinking ship,” Lisa continued. “We wanted to actually acknowledge the fact that it was almost unproduceable … or they were.”
