Southern Charm‘s Salley Carson shared she’s hopeful that a romantic relationship continues to develop between her friend Venita Aspen and Summer House star Carl Radke.
Salley’s stamp of approval:
“[Venita] has been out with Carl. He is super sweet,” Salley shared on the Monday, December 29, episode of iHeartRadio’s Two T’s in a Pod.
“I actually think that they would be a good fit for each other. I’ve met him a few times, and I really like him. She deserves a good guy.”
She didn’t stop there. Salley reiterated that she is a big fan of Carl and the entire Summer House crew.
“I’ve gotten to know Jesse [Solomon] and West [Wilson]. I’ve met Ciara [Miller], who I think is awesome. I think that they’re all great, and I love Amanda [Batula]. I think she’s awesome.”
How it started:
It began at BravoCon 2025.
Carl expressed how glad he was to have spent time with Venita during a Summer House panel. “I had a really great time hanging out with Venita yesterday.”
“Venita’s beautiful, really cool.”
Carl explained that he and Venita have known each other for years through Ciara Miller. “We got to know each other a little bit more yesterday,” he added.
Venita, for her part, didn’t shy away from the flirt talk either. On a separate panel, she admitted she’s absolutely open to another date.
How it’s going:
Venita was a guest on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on December 23 and shared that she went on a five-hour date with Carl. “We’ve now gone on one date, which is very nice.”
The date reportedly started at Soft Bar (Carl’s spot, of course) before moving to a nearby Mexican restaurant — where they stayed so long they were eventually asked to leave.
“We shut the place down,” Venita gushed. “It lasted almost five hours. We were together the whole day.”
