Venita Aspen shared that she recently went on a date with Summer House’s Carl Radke.
While appearing on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the Southern Charm star confirmed the two have officially dipped their toes into dating.
“We’ve now gone on one date, which is very nice,” Venita said on the December 23 episode.
The date reportedly started at Soft Bar (Carl’s spot, of course) before moving to a nearby Mexican restaurant — where they stayed so long they were eventually asked to leave.
“We shut the place down,” she said. “It lasted almost five hours. We were together the whole day.”
If this pairing feels familiar, it’s because fans have clocked their chemistry before.
Venita’s close friend Ciara Miller originally introduced the two, but things really started buzzing after a photo from last year’s NBC Upfronts showed their hands lightly touching.
“I never really thought anything about him until that moment,” Venita admitted.
“Then the internet blew it up.”
More fuel was added at BravoCon, where Carl openly shared on a panel that he had a great time hanging out with Venita throughout the weekend.
Venita also spoke about being mindful of Carl’s sobriety ahead of their date, revealing she checked in with him beforehand about drinking.
“He told me no one had ever asked him that before,” she said.
Venita ended up nursing a single margarita all night, keeping things lowkey and intentional.
