As the saying goes, ‘the show must go on’ … which applies to the Real Housewives of Potomac proceeding without Karen Huger.
A source told People that the show plans to film without ‘The Grande Dame’ later this month while she serves her prison sentence.
RHOP continues without Karen:
“Production on the Bravo reality show will proceed with its upcoming 10th season as Huger is behind bars. Cameras are expected to pick up officially at the end of March,” the insider continued.
Karen could still return in the future, especially if her sentence is reduced. She has 30 days to appeal the judge’s decision and 90 days to ask the judge to reconsider his order.
ICYMI:
Karen is the third Real Housewife to get sentenced to prison time.
First came Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice. She served just under a year in “camp” for bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud.
Then, Jen Shah from RHOSLC was sentenced to 6.5 years. She orchestrated a telemarketing scheme that targeted sick people and senior citizens.
While RHONJย paused filming whileย Teresa Giudiceย served her 11-month prison sentence, that did not happen for Jen Shan and won’t happen for Karen Huger.
Real Housewives (Prison Version):
Andy Cohen was asked about a potential show capitalizing on the housewives of the prison system.
Gary Janetti asked, โCanโt they put all the housewives in the same prison and just do a show from there?โ The host of Watch What Happens Live, have responded, โToo soon, Garyโ โฆ but thatโs not a โNo!โ
