The rumor that Real Housewives of New York was going on “pause” or even canceled was quickly debunked by Bravo TV.
Fake news:
While the network didn’t elaborate, they discredited the anonymous source that spread misinformation to a major publication.
A Bravo TV spokesperson clarified, “Nothing is official. The show hasn’t been cancelled.”
The ruuuuhhhhmuuuur and the nastiness:
It was INCORRECTLY reported that the network has decided to take RHONY off the air, with “hopes” to reconfigure it. They claimed, “It doesn’t seem as if there’s any great expectation that it’ll be back anytime soon.”
The source alleged (falsely), “We’re trying to figure that show out. We want to figure it out. We think there’s still life in it.”
Execs expect RHONY to return at some point and in some form, “but certainly not with all of its current cast,” according to Page Six.

Allegedly, Bravo hopes to overhaul the cast, but they are “having a hard time finding women who want to be involved.”
