Sonja Morgan Doesn’t Think The Golden Life Cast Has Been Finalized – Find Out Who May Still Join The Cast!

Real Housewives of New York alum Sonja Morgan remains optimistic that her co-star, Dorinda Medley, will appear on E!’s The Golden Life alongside her, Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin, and Ramona Singer.

“It’s not over ’til the fat lady sings,” declared Sonja when asked about the Matron of Blue Stone Manor joining the cast of The Golden Life.

Although Sonja “wouldn’t count Dorinda out” when it comes to making an appearance, the TV personality did have some opinions on why Dorinda wasn’t cast in the upcoming series.

According to Sonja, E! was looking for a cast that “really are friends” and “loyal to each other.” She elaborated, “You have spats over day-to-day things like sisters would.”

Sonja had a scroll of grievances to air against Dorinda. “They want the satirical comedy that people could feel good about … Not mean comments that my husband’s family may not appreciate since they are the founders of a big banking industry.”

“We don’t need people taking their money out of the bank because I have a Holland Tunnel or because I’m f*cking around in St. Tropez because it’s not true.”

Despite throwing shade, Sonja insisted she and Dorinda are “always alright.”

“I’m just talking about what they are looking for, and it’s not over,” she clarified. “I wouldn’t count Dorinda out; I wouldn’t count Jules [Wainstein] out; I wouldn’t count Aviva [Drescher] out.”

“I wouldn’t even count [Bethenny Frankel] out,” she declared. “There’s no one I wouldn’t want to film with.”

Sonja wants justice for Ramona:

Ramona Singer is the RHONY alum Sonja is most excited to film with. She feels Ramona was “misunderstood, misquoted, and taken out of context” on the original iteration of the series.

“I know her very well for a very long time. So, I would like to see her film and let people see her soft side again.” Sonja described Ramona as a “caregiver.”

“She’s a very good friend. [Ramona] would give you the shirt off her back.”
