Andy Cohen and Lisa Rinna made amends on Watch What Happens Live after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum burned her former boss’s book.
Lisa was in Bravo TV’s Clubhouse to chat about her book, You Better Believe I’m Going To Talk About It when Andy brought up the mess around one of his books.
How it started:
On WWHL, Andy approached Lisa about her dramatic act. “You write in the book about … my publishing a couple of text messages that really pissed you off. Text messages from you that I put in my book Daddy Diaries pissed you off so much that you burned my book in your fireplace.”
Andy and Rinna caught up in person for the first time in years while filming The Traitors US season 4 reunion. He took the opportunity to OWN that it was wrong to publish their private text messages.
How it’s going:
Bravo TV’s exec took the opportunity to apologize publicly. “I apologize for publishing those texts. I’ve had that done to me, and I didn’t like it. I had all these reasons for doing it. And when I really thought about it, I was like, ‘Oh wait, I gotta apologize.’ So, I’m sorry!”
“You apologized in that moment and it meant the world,” Rinna replied.
“You’re so extra,” laughed Andy to his guest. Then, he jokingly asked Lisa whether his Daddy Diaries book burned “easily” when she tossed it into her fireplace.
“It did,” she laughed. “It was so beautiful to watch your book go up in flames! Andy, really, it’s an honor that I would burn your book. It’s kind of an honor.”
