Real Housewives of New York alums Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon were filming The Golden Life, but it was their co-star, Ramona Singer, that caused a scene, according to reports from Page Six.
While the RHONY Legacy stars were spotted “hamming it up for the cameras” in Palm Beach, Florida, Ramona was allegedly trying to steal the spotlight.
The scene of Ramona’s (social) crime:
The ladies were asked to sing the national anthem at ritzy event, But, “pushy” Singer steamrolled the moment. While the women filmed at the Gay Polo League in Wellington on Saturday, Ramona’s “bossy behavior left onlookers appalled.”
“She wouldn’t let anyone have the mic! Luann wanted to sing and she literally pushed her away. It was so offensive. Luann should’ve been the main person. She’s the cabaret singer,” added the source.
Ramona was described as the true “snowbird” out of the group, as she splits her time between Palm Beach, New York City, and the Hamptons. She’s apparently adapted a very loosely held new persona of “charitable Palm Beach socialite” in Florida.
An insider described Ramona’s behavior as being reminiscent of Luann’s etiquette lessons from the early days of RHONY. “She’s like the queen of etiquette until the mask comes off,” they said of Ramona.
Ramona isn’t the only Singer filming for E! at the moment:
Earlier this month, Avery Singer filmed alongside her mom for The Golden Life. “I’m really excited for the fans and the ladies to have their comeback moment,” Avery said in a video showing off her filming look.
The Bach Boss co-founder revealed she’ll be filming three scenes over the next 48 hours. “Here we go!! First time filming for #goldenlife. Hope to make Little Aves proud 💃🏼💕🎬,” she captioned her Instagram announcement posted on April 7.
ICYMI: The Golden Life is an upcoming 10-episode E! reality series following Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, and Dorinda Medley as they navigate life, careers, and friendships in Palm Beach, Florida.
