The former husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey, Peter Thomas, is working and returning to the small screen following his release from prison for failing to pay his taxes.
In new court docs obtained by TMZ, Peter asked the judge if he would be able to travel with his current job. In his filing, Peter, who didn’t pay employment taxes related to restaurants he owned, said he is currently employed with a restaurant-related company. He needs to travel to a restaurant opening.
The judge signed off on his work travel.
Additionally, Peter let the judge know he had been approached to return to reality TV. He explained he is well-known from his days on RHOA and that he has a large following on social media. He said he has been using his platform to inform the public of the importance of paying their taxes.
ICYMI, Peter boasted about being approached to be on Todd Tucker’s new reality show, Ex-Husbands of Atlanta, back in May. In an interview with Michelle Brown, Peter not only announced his involvement in Todd’s show, but he also validated the project. This isn’t just another “scheme that Todd set up.”
Despite past disagreements, Peter respects Todd’s hustle. Plus, Cynthia’s ex thinks he’s necessary for the show. “I knew I’d signed on. It didn’t make no sense without me. It didn’t make no sense without PJ Thomas, baby.”
