Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo entered the chat to defend her friend, Ciara Miller, after Dancing With the Stars fans commented on how her face lacked expression.
While positive and encouraging comments came in for Ciara and Brandon Armstrong‘s performance to Whitney Houston’s Exhale (Shoop Shoop) during premiere night two, others commented that she didn’t smile enough.
Ciara took to Threads to share what was going on internally. “Guys, just know I was petrified all night. Please don’t read into my facial expressions.”
The nurse/model continued, “I was also trying not to have a meltdown before the show.”
Paige popped in to defend her fellow bed bug. “She just needed a beta blocker. Leave her alone.”
She gushed, “She’s a star!!!!!”
The Summer House cast member is also juggling another major milestone as she makes the leap from reality TV to a live performance competition. Her DWTS appearance comes shortly after she served as a correspondent for Live From E!: Countdown to the 2026 Emmys, where she turned heads on the red carpet in a gown that once belonged to the late Whitney Houston.
For now, she’s trading the red carpet (and bed) for the ballroom floor (and bed).
