Nicole Martin may have stepped back from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Miami, but she’s not stepping back from having her bestie’s back!
During the RHOM Season 7 premiere, tensions flared between Julia Lemigova and Guerdy Abraira as their once-solid friendship hit a rough patch.
The drama stemmed from Julia accusing Guerdy of skipping a Zoom call where she shared the emotional news that she and her partner, Martina Navratilova, are adopting two boys.
But Guerdy wasn’t here for the narrative being spun on-screen. She clapped back on Instagram in real time, sharing receipts that showed she did try to join the Zoom—and hinted that Julia wasn’t exactly transparent with her in the first place.
Enter Nicole, who came to Guerdy’s defense in the comments section of Pink Pop Box’s Instagram post. The anesthesiologist and new mom didn’t mince words:
“This is the type of petty nonsense that makes being in this friend group too stressful,” Nicole began.
“Everything gets exaggerated and taken out of context for the sake of making a scene. Sorry @guerdydesign has to go through this nonsense,” she concluded.
ICYMI: Nicole announced earlier this year that she was stepping away from the show to prioritize her mental health and postpartum journey after welcoming her baby girl, Genevieve.
While she won’t be a main cast member this season, fans can look forward to a cameo from the glam doctor—and you can bet she’ll be Team Guerdy, always.
