Monique Samuels is officially returning for Season 10 of the Real Housewives of Potomac as a ‘friend of.’
PEOPLE reported, “Production for the show is currently underway in Maryland. Last season’s stars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Keiarna Stewart and Stacey Rusch all filming again.”
Monique’s return:
Things have changed for the mother-of-three since we last saw her on RHOP.
For one, the Mila Eve Essentials owner finalized her divorce from former NFL offensive tackle Chris Samuels in 2023. She and Chris were married for 11 years, and are parents to daughter Milani, 9, and sons Christopher, 12, and Chase, 6.
A source spilled, “Monique’s in a totally different place now. Fans will see that. She’s excited to show who she is now. Not as a wife, not as just a mom, but as a woman starting over and taking on life on her own terms.”
Season 10 of RHOP is expected to air later this year.
In case you missed it:
Monique joined the RHOP cast in its second season and quit after a messy – and violent – season five. On an Instagram Live, Mo announce that she is “over it” and will not return for another season, despite being offered a contract. “Enough is enough.”
After starting a physical altercation with Candiace Dillard Bassett, Monique described the Bravo series as “toxic.” She told US Magazine, “It was worth it to me because my peace means more to me than any show, any check, any person. As I move forward, I only do things that I feel won’t interrupt my peace.”
The timing:
Candiace and her husband, Chris, welcomed their first baby. The Real Housewife decided to focus on being a real Real Housewife and mom.
Now that Candiace no longer films RHOP, Mia Thornton‘s gone, and Karen Huger is in prison, the timing for Mo’s return is ideal … if you’re not opposed to her coming back to Bravo.
