Michelle Saniei is setting the record straight about where things really stand between her and estranged husband, Jesse Lally.
Currently airing on The Valley, viewers have watched the breakdown of Michelle and Jesse’s relationship—most notably during the group’s Santa Barbara cast trip, when Jesse’s “hooker” allegations pushed Michelle to her limit.
As “the mother of his child,” Michelle made it clear she didn’t appreciate Jesse speaking poorly of her in the infamous “guys chat.”
And honestly? Fair.
During a recent appearance on The Viall Files, Michelle shared that Jesse appeared to do a complete 180 the night before filming the season 2 reunion.
“The night before the reunion, he was just like, ‘I’m tired of fighting. I just want to move forward for our mental health,’” she recalled.
But according to Michelle, that alleged truce didn’t line up with reality. Prior to filming, she says the two had been constantly going back and forth through their lawyers—something she says was both emotionally and financially draining.
She also took issue with Jesse’s Watch What Happens Live appearance, where he claimed they were on good terms.
“All of his answers were not sincere or the truth, and that’s my frustration,” she said.
Since filming wrapped, Michelle says the two don’t speak at all. Thanks to their daughter Isabella’s school schedule, pickups and drop-offs allow them to avoid direct contact altogether.
Even though Jesse has officially moved forward with their divorce, Michelle doesn’t buy that it came from a genuine place.
“I think everything, again, is very strategic.”
