Turns out, Mia Thornton could be facing jail time over an incident from last year.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the former Real Housewives of Potomac star is facing a felony charge stemming from her 2025 arrest for allegedly stealing furniture.
The docs show the Fulton County District Attorney filed a felony theft by taking charge against Mia.
Prosecutors claim Mia and an associate, Jared McGriff, stole furniture and a TV valued at at least $5,000 but less than $25,000 on October 28, 2025, just a couple of weeks before her arrest.
The alleged theft reportedly occurred while the pair were moving out of a furnished condo in the middle of the night.
Mia was later arrested at an Atlanta airport in November 2025.
ICYMI: Mia appeared on RHOP from 2021 to 2025.
Her final season of the show largely centered around questions regarding the paternity of her youngest son, Jeremiah.
Spoiler alert: His father is Gordon Thornton, Mia’s then-husband.
The couple finalized their divorce in September of 2025 after 11 years of marriage.
During her time on Real Housewives of Potomac, Mia also began a relationship with Atlanta radio host Incognito, aka “Inc.”
Then, on April 21, 2025, the reality star announced she was exiting RHOP and making the move to Atlanta.
