Mary Cosby has heard from Rihanna not once, but twice.
(Which, by the way, is two more times than I ever have)
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star revealed to Vulture she heard from the makeup maven as recently as Christmas!
“Like I said, Rihanna reached out to me twice,” Mary begins.
“She reached out to us when the show aired and told us she loved us. And then on Christmas Day, she said, ‘Merry Christmas, and I love you and Robert Jr.’”
“I feel like if you can reach people of that caliber, you’re doing something right, you know what I mean?”
The question that spurred the Rihanna chatter centered around how Mary is coping following Robert Jr.’s intense confession about being an addict.

Earlier this season on RHOSLC, Mary and her son shared a heart to heart moment where he detailed his struggles with addiction and his mental health.
Robert admitted to abusing numerous drugs and narcotics since the age of 16, including cocaine, Xanax, acid and molly.
As much praise and support that the Cosby family received online (even from Rihanna herself), it was met with an equal amount of criticism.
Viewers felt it should have been a conversation behind closed doors, but Mary stands beside her decision to invite cameras into their private moment.
As recently as this week, Mary defended her decision with TODAY online.
“It’s a fine line between putting your kids out there and then protecting them.”
“It was just something that I questioned all the way up until it aired.”
As of today; Robert Jr. seems to be doing well! (that is when he isn’t slamming his mother’s costars on Instagram)
