It’s fair to assume Martina Navratilova and J.K. Rowling won’t attend any Pedro Pascal fan festivals in the near future.
Both the Real Housewives of Miami personality and the Harry Potter author have spoken out about Pedro Pascal for supporting trans rights, while Martina’s vocally opposed including trans women in women’s sports.
Martina VS Pedro:
The tennis player criticized The Last of Us actor, who has a trans sister, for vocally supporting trans rights and criticizing J.K. Rowling.
In a social media post made on Saturday, Martina entered the chat. “Another Johnny come lately telling women to STFU.”

How we got here:
In a VF cover story earlier this summer, Pedro called an anti-trans ruling J.K. Rowling supported “heinous loser behavior.”
Pedro was accused of ‘bullying’ the author, although he is known for being “opposed to bullies,” not being one himself.
“It’s a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen, and people will actually be protected,” he said. “Listen, I want to protect the people I love. But it goes beyond that. Bullies make me fucking sick.”
Both Martina and J.K. embraced the acronym TERF (trans exclusionary radical feminist).
