Martina Navratilova and Julia Lemigova adopted! Congratulations to the former tennis pro and the Real Housewives of Miami star who are the parents of two young boys.
Plus two:
The couple’s agent, Mary Greenham, told PA News Agency that Julia and Martina “requested privacy while they welcome the new members of their family.” The pair have been married for almost a decade. The tennis icon gushed, “We are over the moon, recognizing the challenges and the rewards for everybody.”
RHOM‘s Julia already has one son, who died more than 20 years ago. She also has two daughters from previous relationships.
The hurdle:
Martina underwent treatment for throat and breast cancer in 2010. In 2023, she announced she was “cancer free.”
In December 0f 2023, the couple told Page Six their adoption plans were “on hold.” She noted they weren’t “closing the door on those plans”.
Bravo TV fans are elated for the couple:
- Beautiful. & kudos to them for adopting. I wish more wealthy people did this instead of surrogacy because there are so many children in foster care that need love and homes as well. Bravo Julia and Martina! 🫶🏽
- They now get to be #BoyMoms. Welcome to the Club. Their big sisters are going to dote on them extra hard!!! 👶🏻👶🏻🩵🩵🍼🍼🧸🧸
- Lucky little boys, they have wonderful mommies! 🩵🩷🩵🩷
In case you missed it:
Julia suffered a health scare right after the RHOM reboot began filming. According to TMZ, the former Miss USSR began feeling ill after filming on the roof of an $8.5 million home with panoramic ocean views where the housewives vacationed.
