Marciano Brunette is doubling down that he did not sexually assault MomTok’s Demi Engemann.
In legal docs obtained by TMZ, Marciano claims Demi has damaged his reputation by falsely labeling him a “sexual predator” and accusing him of sexual assault.
According to him, the kiss they shared during filming in Italy was fully consensual, despite how Demi has described the moment on social media and on TV.
Marciano says Demi’s account of their August 2024 interaction has “shifted over time,” accusing her of reframing what he calls an obviously consensual moment into misconduct, and later into sexual assault, to serve a storyline.
He isn’t just suing Demi.
Marciano is also going after Secret Lives of Mormon Wives executive producer Jeff Jenkins.
He claims production aired Demi’s allegations in a way that maximized shock value while cutting him out of the narrative entirely.
The suit alleges producers had “obvious reasons to doubt Engemann’s account,” citing inconsistencies, delays, and internal information that didn’t support her version of events. Still, Marciano says the show “amplified the accusations for profit.”
In the filing, he includes alleged texts he says Demi sent after leaving Italy.
According to him, she kept in contact for months through calls, FaceTimes, and invitations to visit her in Utah and California.
He even claims she shared her location with him. Marciano argues this behavior reflects a continued relationship, not someone responding to assault.
This is getting messier and messier…
